Derrick Pedranti — Interactive Developer and Designer

In his career as a senior-level interactive designer and developer, Derrick Pedranti has shared his expertise in front-end web development, content management systems, graphic design, video streaming and editing, Internet marketing, and search engine optimization with his colleagues. Pedranti’s extensive work includes Web design, Flash animation, print projects, corporate presentations for government contracts, artwork for trade-show booths, and other marketing materials.

Derrick Pedranti serves as Managing Director of the freelance company C2 Design Studio in Irvine, California. In this capacity, Pedranti acts as creative lead and job lead on animated, interactive websites and other projects for clients ranging from small businesses to large corporations.

In 2007, Derrick Pedranti joined Ingram Micro Inc. in Santa Ana, California, as a Senior User Interface Designer. In this role, he designs and develops both internal and client websites. In addition, Derrick Pedranti contributes his talents in video streaming and editing, digital signage content and production, and Internet and search engine marketing. An expert in content management systems such as Joomla and WordPress and at creating Flash animations, Pedranti also excels at social media integration. For Ingram Micro Inc., he implemented Twitter and Facebook pages as well as a custom YouTube channel.

Derrick Pedranti’s website design portfolio includes holiday e-cards and other interactive projects for Ingram Micro Inc. as well as websites for the Banknote Conferences of 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2012, Sima Solutions, Inc., and BlackPoint IT. He also completed Web design work for CSI, Inc. and Bay State Computers, Inc. Pedranti has implemented green screen technology and added streaming video onto websites and microsites. Additionally, he has integrated music, video, and Flash animation into digital signage for various clients.

At Occidental College in Eagle Rock, California, Derrick Pedranti studied liberal arts. He later completed coursework in interactive and new media design and development at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Derrick Pedranti is a member of Toastmasters International, and he supports two children through World Vision, Inc., one in India and another in Africa. He also donates to various other causes, such as the relief fund for victims of the Haiti earthquake in January 2010. When not working, Pedranti remains active by golfing, hiking, and working out. He also takes pleasure in decorating with holiday lights and spending time with his family doing fun activities such as attending his favorite amusement parks. Disneyland is a personal family favorite.
